4.Clay Buchholz RHP
Buchhloz was as dommiant as any picher in the minor leagues last season, and he
may have been even better after a promotion to Boston,throwing a no-hitter
against the Oriloles in just his second big league start. He has the array of
pitches to eventually become the staff ace in Boston. The Red Sox will break
him in as a middle of the rotation.
27.Jacoby Ellsbury OF
Ellsbury showed off all his skills in limited appearance in Boston last season,
and it won't be long before the Red Sox will make room for him play full-time,
He has all the skills you look for in center field and at the top of a batting
order, and he knows how to make good use of his outstanding speed.
40.Lars Anderson 1B
The Red Sox, another organization that has benefited from not following Major
League Baseball's draft bonus guidelines, signed Anderson for $825,000 as an
18th-round pick in 2006. He has a pretty lefthanded swing that already gives
him a healthy average and should eventually produce power.
