．Yankees: Olney says they initially made an offer that was markedly less than
           other teams, and have since withdrawn it.

．Orioles: Olney says they're at seven years, $140MM (as opposed to the
           $140-150MM range we've seen reported).

．Nationals: eight years, $160MM based on published reports.  Olney is not sure
             whether the Nats have raised this offer but heard from confidants
             of "one high-ranking executive" that they have not.
             Olney's Nationals sources expressed pessimism about their chances.

  1) 繼 Henry "放話退出"之後，天使老闆 Arte Moreno 也說不玩了
     天使球團發言人 Tim Mead 昨晚證實這項消息，他們撤銷原先
     提出的大約 8 year, $160M 的 offer。甚至有說法是天使本來
     就不打算競爭 Teixeira，因為 Teixeira 及他太太想到東岸，
     開出 offer 是計畫拉抬價錢，不過這只是謠言。

  2) 嗯～重點來了...天使撤銷 offer，而紅襪官方從頭到尾保持沉默
     意思就是說我們沒有取消提給 Teixeira 那份 8year,$170-180M
     的合約，有消息指出紅襪還是 Teixeira 的強力競爭者，先前
     Henry 的 e-mail 不過是談判技巧。

  3) 洋基尚未提出 offer，球團內部在爭辯中。

  4) 金鶯跟國民還是有機會，Teixeira 是在 Severna Park, Md. 長大的
