1) 再過一個多月投捕手就要去 Fort Myers, Fla. 報到展開春訓
Offseason的補強還剩兩個位置未完成：先發捕手、4號外野手
。自由市場上仍然沒有其他球隊在爭取 Jason Varitek，總經
理 Theo Epstein 拒絕談論他與 Varitek 的經紀人 Boras 的
交涉內容。
"We'll see, We'll continue to look at our options and
see what develops"
2) Matt Sczesny，前紅襪小聯盟球員、經理、以及球探；週日因
對抗癌症辭世，享年76歲。他簽下的球員包括 Mo Vaughn,
John Valentin, and Bob Stanley.
3) Dustin Pedroia 跟他太太 Kelli 週日在白宮參與晚宴。
4) 一年一度的 Red Sox Rookie Program 開始了，今年邀請了13
位新秀參加，課程包括 conditioning, strength training,
fundamentals, and major league life off the field.
投手部份:Daniel Bard, Felix Doubront, Kris Johnson,
Richie Lentz, Adam Mills, Dewon Day, Wes Littleton,
and Dustin Richardson.
捕手：Mark Wagner
內野手：Lars Anderson, Argenis Diaz
