After a four-game rehab assignment for Triple-A Pawtucket, the Red Sox have activated Julio Lugo from the 15-day disabled list, this according to Kevin McNamara of the Providence Journal. Lugo went 4 for 17 with a double, 2 walks and 5 strikeouts while playing error-free defense with the Paw Sox. The 33-year-old shortstop underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee on March 27 and was placed on the disabled list on April 4.
