0.有鑑於圖庫快見底了，來一篇小故事 (只想看真實消息請跳到下面~)

以下故事改編自八卦板#1Fad5TWD (Gossiping) 一切純屬虛構，如有雷同就...

在2012年的某一天，紅襪隊落後美東第四名高達16.5場。更慘的是此時已經吞下了26連敗
，打破克里夫蘭騎士隊的記錄已經只差一步之遙。

而這天的對手卻是火力旺盛的遊騎兵，紅襪球迷都不期不待，芬威球場只剩下四成的球
迷。

這天中午Valentine的櫃子裡出現了一顆鳳梨。

這顆鳳梨神奇似的對Valentine說:「我們來打賭，我來當今天的總教練，如果贏球了，你
就要下台；如果我輸了，就會供應全隊一年份的免費炸雞。」

Valentine心想炸雞挺不錯的，但是這有損威嚴，於是裝作沒聽到就離開了。

比賽開打。

一局上半遊騎兵火力遭到Melancon封鎖，只掉三分。

一局下時，第四棒的麥當勞三球三振，Valentine不爽主審的好球帶上前理論，最後被趕
出場。(PS.主審怕他玩老招所以請保全帶他出去)

這時有人抱著鳳梨到了休息室。原來是復健中的發球機，鳳梨和Valentine的對話他全都
聽見了。發球機一五一十的向大家說明來龍去脈，並且特別強調了獎品。

大伙心想這人瘋了。不過這時先發三壘手Vitek說話了:「這一定是遊騎兵的詭計。他們要
用鳳梨來打擊我們的軍心。」

大家決定將計就計，就讓鳳梨來當總教練。

二局下Nava在壘上，他想看總教練有甚麼戰術，但是總教練一動也不動。

三出局，第二局結束。5-0。

這時在牛棚的北極聽到了消息，溜進了休息室。「炸雞？!」北極決定在第三局上場。

反正總教練也沒意見。

詭異的是北極讓對手三上三下，大夥高興極了，上一次三上三下是十五天前的事。

沒想到接下來北擊越投越起勁，竟然沒再讓對手得分。六局下的一輪猛攻讓比數超前到了
6-5。

這時球迷都樂翻了；而鏡頭也帶到了休息室，發現了這位神奇的總教練。

最後Doubront上來關門，成功的以6-5大勝遊騎兵(備註:虛構)，順利的止住連敗，也避免
寫下難堪的歷史。

人在運動家的Pedroia和Middlebrooks都在採訪時表示祝賀之意(7月被交易到運動家，換
來了兩位3A的牛棚投手)

於是鳳梨取代了Valentine當上了總教練，Valentine再也沒有回來過了。

鳳梨順利的帶領紅襪拿下63勝，並在最後一場比賽順利的脫離聯盟爐主；最後鳳梨得到了
五年的約。

different ways to improve and we've got to look at all those ways. We've got
to talk about it, think about it, and look at it. "

"Very satisfied," Cherington said. "He makes the lineup out, makes decisions 
during the game. The players will always influence wins and losses more than
anybody else, and that's no different here.

"He's doing the best he can with the roster he has. It'll get better. He 
knows that and I know that, and along the way if changes need to be made on 
the roster, that's my responsibility."

problem with is new teammate Marlon Byrd, according to Jesse Sanchez of
