Maier averaged 122 big league games in 2009-10 while posting a .254/.333/.354/.688 line during those two seasons with the Royals. However, he's played just 77 big league games over the last two years. A 2003 first-round pick by the Royals (at a time when current VP of player personnel Allard Baird was the Kansas City GM), Maier can play all three outfield positions. The left-handed hitting Maier seemingly represents a minor league depth option at a time when the Sox have just one known starter (Jacoby Ellsbury) for their 2013 big league outfield. -- 皇家30歲四號外野手Mitch Maier,可守外野三個位置 2010年.263/.333/.375/.709/94 OPS+ (421 PA)是生涯最佳 2012年.172/.260/.313/.573/57 OPS+ (74 PA) http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/m/maiermi01.shtml -- 純粹提供外野深度 ==================== http://t.co/HCLnVR78 另外Farrell可能會雇兩個打擊教練(另一個用助理教練的名義) -- "HARD WORK BEATS TALENT WHEN TALENT FAILS TO WORK HARD." -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.114.207.153
