  最近版上有點冷清，所以來發表一下對今天兩個交易的看法:

  (1) Justin Germano for Rheal Cormier

      這個交易一般 Reds 的球迷都是給予正面的評價，Cormier 今年
      的 ERA 只有 1.59，WHIP 為 1.18，BAA 是 .225，對於牛棚將會
      有不小的助益。他將會代替 Shackelford 的 lefty specialist
      的位置。

      送走 Germano 有一點點可惜，因為 Reds 並沒有給他太多證明他自己
      的機會。但他的 stuff 被評估在 long reliever 到 no.4 starter 之間
      ，並不是頂級。而且今年 Reds 在新人養成上有不錯的成績，光是在
      AAA 的先發投手就有 Phil Dumatrait 和 Mike Gosling 有和他差不多
      、甚至更好的潛力，更不說較低階的幾個投手，因此，交易掉 Germano
      是可以接受的。

      雖然 Cormier 已經 39 歲，這個交易算是讓人滿意，交易掉 Germano
      也沒對 farm 有太大的損失。


  (2) Zachary Ward for Kyle Lohse

      Ward 今年在 Dayton 有不錯的表現 (2.29 ERA，0.97 WHIP，95 SO，
      37 BB)，他的 stuff 也一直有不錯的評價，但他的問題在於他的年紀
      ，他雖然是在大學後才加入職業棒球，但 22 歲的年紀仍留在 low-A
      是太老了一點，即使是一切順利、無病無痛，他至少還要三年才能上
      到大聯盟，到時他就已經 25 到 26 歲了。

      除了之前提到的 Dumastrait、Gosling 及頂頂大名的 Bailey 外，
      紅人的 farm 裡還有好幾個先發投手有 Ward 等級以上的潛力，包括
      Travis Wood、Carlos Fisher、Johnny Cueto、Rafael Gonzalez、
      Sam Lecure 和 Steven Kelly，所以交易走 Ward 算是可以接受。
      這個交易比較讓人垢病的是交易來的 Lohse，他今年的 ERA 高達 7.07，
      甚至一度被降到小聯盟，之後歸隊後就被放到牛棚去。Lohse 最讓人
      擔心的是他的 WHIP 及 BAA，最近三年的 WHIP 在 1.4 到 1.6 之間，
      BAA 在三成左右徘徊，都是過高。

      Lohse 最近幾週的表現已經比較穩定，七月的 ERA 是 3.18，希望他換個
      環境、來到國聯後，可以有不錯的表現。他將有和 Claussen 爭第五號
      先發的機會，不然也會負擔 long reliever 的責任。

      這個交易用一個 22 歲仍在 low-A 的投手換來一個 27 歲已有六年大聯盟
      經驗的投手，而且對於第五號先發及牛棚的洞有立即的幫助，也是個不錯的
      交易。
