Renee's Surprise Skating Party:
Renee Zellweger's boyfriend threw her a birthday party - at an
ice skating rink. She's a big star but Renee - who turned 35
April 25th - loves strapping on a pair of skates. So rocker
Jack White rented out the rink in Farmington Mills Mich., recently
and invited 50 of Renee's closest friends. "He even bought her
a pair of skates," says a source. "She was very touched."
Also on hand was Jack's ex-wife Meg, who is the other member
of his band, The White Stripes. The source says the two women
are friendly, but it is a bit awkward for the actress. "Renee
keeps a very watchful eye on Jack's relationship with Meg,"
says a source. "They actually get along really well, but it's
a bit unusual - even in Hollywood.
