我先說我沒有辦法判斷op的烏龜的死因
只是他死在加溫燈下剛好讓我想到這一段


What I said was RAISE the lamp OR turn it off if leaving them unattended.

The critical thing is not to have a hot spot with small hatchlings where they
can fatally overheat. This is not so much of a problem with larger juveniles
as their body mass and surface area makes them much more tolerant. Even so,
it is best to keep peak surface temperatures down to safe levels. That means
just below about 31 degrees.

If you have substrate surface temperatures much higher than that under the
basking lamp (very common), and an animal inverts, its temperature can soon
rise to the lethal level of 36-37 and life expectancy can be 10 minutes or
less.

This is a surprisingly frequent cause of death in hatchlings (though not
everyone admits to it). I know a number of people who have lost very small
tortoises to this, including me. I lost a baby kleinmanni like this about 12
years ago. That really bought the dangers home to me. A friend lost a 6 month
old Radiated tortoise exactly the same way. Someone else I know lost a baby
sulcata.

There is absolutely no danger or detrimental effect to reducing basking
temperatures to just below 30 degrees if you are not there.
