PSMS Amazing Union日前特別與搖滾帝國進行亞洲行前專訪，
特邀陣中型男鍵盤手Derek Sherinian進行訪談，以下為本次專訪內容：

R：As we know that you have been working with Alice Cooper for a long time
who even calls you the “Caligula of Keyboards.” How do you feel about
having that name?
對於合作多年的驚悚大師Alice Cooper稱您為"鍵盤界的暴君卡里古拉，請問您有
甚麼看法?
D：Alice gave me that name almost 25 years ago, I am still trying to figure
out what he meant by that!
他大概25年前給了我這個稱號，但我還沒猜透那到底是甚麼意思XD
R：Other than Elton John, Van Halen and Jeff Beck, who also inspired you in
music? Or who has been the most supportive?
除了Elton John, Van Halen以及Jeff Beck外，還有誰是您在音樂上的啟蒙者?或
者誰最支持您?
D：I have had a lot of support from many of my musical heroes. I would say
that Simon Phillips and Steve Lukather have been especially supportive
to me.
一直以來我從我的偶像們獲得了很多支持，像是鼓手Simon Phillips(The Who,
Toto)以及Toto前吉他手Steve Lukather都非常照顧我。
R：Can you share some stories about working with Mike Portnoy?
能否跟我們分享一些和Mike Portnoy合作的故事?
D：It has been a longtime since Mike and I have played in a band together.
When we played in January, it was a great time. Mike and I always had
fun on stage and on the tour bus.
我們已經合作了一段很長的時間，今年一月我們同台演出時感覺真的很棒！我和
Mike總是能在舞台上玩得很盡興，當然還有巡迴巴士上XD
R：How did this “Superband＂ form? We know you and Mike are longtime
friends but what about Billy and Tony?
這樣的豪華陣容是如何組成的?當然您與Mike認識多年，但和Billy Sheehan以及
Tony MacAlpine之間是怎麼開始的?
D：Mike Portnoy put this line up together to perform at a drum event last
year. The response was incredible. It was obvious that we had to take
this lineup on tour.
Tony and I of course played in Planet X together, and Billy played on
my solo record “Black Utopia＂
Mike在去年的一場活動把我們四人湊在一起，演出後的反應不可思議地熱烈，
顯然我們必須開始巡迴演出了。
Tony是因為同在Planet X而熟識，至於Billy則是跨刀我的個人演奏專輯"Black
Utopia"(搖滾帝國發行)
R：Will PSMS Amazing Union come up with its own songs? What will the style be?
PSMS Amazing Union將來是否會創作新歌? 會是甚麼風格呢?
D：I would love to write and record a record with PSMS. I am sure that it
will happen in the future- let’s see how much fun we have on this tour.
我非常樂意與PSMS其他團員共同創作並錄製專輯，若本次巡迴非常成功的話是相
