這首歌的主角是北歐神話中的詐欺之神-洛基(Loki)
在歌曲中的內容為洛基以詐術間接殺害了奧丁(Odin)與芙莉嘉(Frigg)的兒子巴德爾(Baldr)
後，被奧丁以自己兄弟的腸子綑縛洛基並囚禁其受以毒液腐蝕臉龐的刑罰，而洛基與其妻子
隱忍千年以求向神界阿斯嘉(Asgaard)復仇的一天。
在神話中，阿斯嘉是阿薩神族的居所，但洛基的母親是巨人族，只因洛基的母親為奧丁的養
母，因而與奧丁結為兄弟而居住在神界。
