In preparing for the 8th and 32nd selections in the upcoming 2006 NBA Draft
 on June 28, the Houston Rockets have begun player workouts with potential
 draft prospects. Rockets.com will be taking a look at several of these prospects
 as they make their way through Houston. Leading off our coverage is Duke
 standout J.J. Redick, winner of the Naismith Trophy Men’s College Player
 of the Year, the John R. Wooden award, The Associated Press Player of the
 Year and the 2005 Amateur Athletic Union James E. Sullivan Memorial Award
. The top 3-point shooter in NCAA history, Redick went through workouts for
 the Rockets Saturday, June 3.

Duke’s J.J. Redick ranks as the most prolific 3-point shooter in the history
 of college basketball, tallying an NCAA-record 457 treys during his career
. In 2005-06, Redick made 139 3-pointers on 42.4 percent shooting from behind
 the arc. He is also second among the NCAA’s all-time leaders in free throw
 percentage at 91.2 percent. Redick concluded his Duke career with 2,679
points to become the school’s and ACC’s career scoring leader.

As a senior, Redick was the nation’s second leading scorer with an average
 of 27.4 points per game as the Blue Devils went 32-4 en route to both the
 Atlantic Coast Conference regular season and tournament titles.

The 6-foot-4 guard capped an exceptional college career by winning this season
’s Naismith Trophy Men’s College Player of the Year, The Associated Press
 Player of the Year and the John R. Wooden award, presented to the nation
’s best basketball player. Redick also won the 2005 Amateur Athletic Union
 James E. Sullivan Memorial Award, given annually to the nation’s top amateur
 athlete. In doing so, he beat out Texas quarterback Vince Young, as well
 as Southern California’s Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush.

Redick also earned All-America First-Team honors from the Associated Press
 and the United States Basketball Writers’ Association. He was also named
 the ACC’s Player of the Year for a second year in a row, becoming the first
 player to win in consecutive seasons since Wake Forest’s Tim Duncan (1996
-97).

主要是詳細介紹了Redick在大學獲得的榮譽。其它火箭試訓的像Brewer和Carney一個
也沒介紹，就非常詳細的介紹了最近才去火箭訓練的JJ，而且作為封面人物。加上最
近Chron和ESPN的消息，使人不得不懷疑自從那次試訓後火箭已經把重點放在了JJ身
