Rockets to Sign Woods

HOUSTON  --  NBA sources told FOX 26 Sports Wednesday the Rockets will sign
free agent center Loren Woods, a seven footer, Thursday or Friday.

Fox26收到NBA消息說火箭將在禮拜四或五簽下七呎中鋒 - Loren Woods。

The Rockets are in need of adding depth to the front court with Yao Ming out
for the year and Carl landry missing the last six games because of an injured
knee.

在姚明報銷以及Landry受傷缺賽六場之後，火箭急需要加強他們前場深度。

Woods has played five years in the NBA. He played his first two seasons with
Minnesota. Woods spent the 2003-2004 season with Miami and then the next two
years with Toronto. Woods played this season in Europe with Efes Pilsen in
Turkey. In 16 games there he averaged 8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks
a game.

Woods曾經在NBA打過五個球季，前兩年在明尼蘇達灰狼。03-04年Woods待在熱火，接著
轉到多倫多暴龍打了兩年。Woods今年效力於土耳其的Efes Pilsen打歐洲聯賽。上場的
16場比賽中，他平均每場得到 8分 6.5籃板和 1.4火鍋。

In five years in the NBA Woods, 7-2 and 260 pounds, averaged 2.6 points and
3.3 rebounds a game.

7呎2吋260磅的Woods在五年NBA生涯中，平均每場 2.6分 3.3籃板。

The Rockets had considered signing free agent center Dale Davis who worked
out for Houston Monday but league sources told FOX the club decided to sign
Woods.

火箭在禮拜一曾經考慮要簽Dale Davis，但fox26收到聯盟內部消息說，火箭最後還是
決定簽下Woods。
