HOUSTON --

Agent Tony Dutt told FOX 26 Sports Wednesday his client, Houston Rockets

forward Mike Harris, agreed to a contract with the Rockets that will go through

next season. Harris is about to finish his second 10-day contract with the club.

"We have agreed to a contract for the rest of this season and next year as well

," Dutt said. "This is a dream come true for Mike.

"Everybody with the Rockets organization appreciates Mike for who he is and

what he is able to do."

Harris has played in eight games with the Rockets averaging five points and

four rebounds a game.

Harris is a rookie who played his college basketball at Rice in Houston.
