Francis opts for return with Rockets instead of testing free agency
HOUSTON -- Steve Francis isn't shortening his return home.
小法將不會縮短它的回鍋秀時間
The Rockets' veteran point guard agreed to return to the team on Wednesday,
picking up the player option on the final year of his contract.
火箭這位經驗豐富的控球後衛將選擇執行合約最後一年的球員選項，在禮拜三回到
隊上。
Francis' plans to return to the Rockets bolsters the team's backcourt heading
into next season, giving the team four point guards under contract. The former
All-Star can also play the off-guard spot.
小法的回歸對於下季火箭的後場有著很大的支援，使火箭擁有四位控球後衛。這位
前全明星也可以擔任得分後衛的角色。
Francis had his season with the Rockets cut short after undergoing knee surgery
in February to repair a torn quadriceps tendon. The team is optimistic that
he'll be able to return in time for training camp.

Before the 2007-08 season, the guard signed with the Rockets as a free agent in
hopes of returning to his All-Star-caliber form in the city where he began his
career. Francis played five seasons in Houston before the Rockets traded him to
Orlando in 2003.

Unfortunately, injuries spoiled his homecoming. Francis appeared in 10 games,
averaging 5.5 points and 3.0 assists before being sidelined by the knee injury.
