Agreement allows Dorsey to play

Joey Dorsey's Summer League holdout lasted one game.
After Dorsey sat out the first game because contract negotiations were not
complete, Dorsey's agent and the Rockets reached an agreement to allow Dorsey
to begin playing.
Though still not signed, Dorsey accepted the Rockets' offer to purchase
insurance as is customary for most second-round picks playing in Summer League.
The Rockets acquired Dorsey, the third player taken in the second round last
month, in draft-night deals with Portland and Memphis.

Meanwhile, Wednesday night's game was also notable due to the impressive pro
debut of forward Joey Dorsey. The Rockets tabbed Dorsey in last month's draft
hoping he could give the team a physical presence in the paint and the former
Memphis Tiger didn't disappoint, delivering a whopping 14 rebounds -- five on
the offensive glass -- and 8 points. After the game, Dorsey said Brooks made
the game easier by pushing the pace.
"Playing with Aaron is almost like playing with [Dorsey's former Memphis
teammate] Derrick Rose," said Dorsey. "He gets down the floor real fast so I
was able to just run the floor with him and get some easy baskets... It felt
great being out there with my guys tonight. I felt like a kid in a candy store.
I just wanted to help my teammates pull this one out."
