Houston Rockets forward Shane Battier is expected to miss the majority of
the team’s preseason schedule due to inflammation in his left foot. The
inflammation occurred during his rehabilitation from offseason surgery to
remove bone spurs which was performed on May 9. The seven-year veteran is
expected to be sidelined for up to four weeks.
