Yao skips practice, says he'll play vs. Mavs
Yao Ming skipped Tuesday's practice due to his left foot injury but told the
media afterward that he would play on Wednesday against Dallas.
"I’m fine, so fine," Yao said. "The x-ray told me I have no problem. I feel
much better this morning." With all the drama after Tuesday's game, it now
sounds like Yao, Ron Artest and Tracy McGrady are all likely to be in the

Artest says he's going to play Wednesday
Ron Artest skipped Tuesday's practice due to his sprained right ankle,
going instead for therapy and examinations.
"I got treatment so I will be able to play tomorrow," Artest said. "I’m
ready to play. I’ve been checked out by the doctor, by Keith (Jones, the
Rockets athletic trainer.) It’s just a little sprain. We’ll see how it
feels during the game." Artest didn't change his stance and said the same
thing after Monday's game.

T-Mac practices, could play Wednesday
Tracy McGrady practiced through his knee injury on Tuesday and is
questionable for Wednesday's game.
This news comes less than 24 hours after McGrady said "until further notice,
I’m going to have to shut it down." He was running through practice, decided
not to have an MRI and said he's "hopeful" he can play against the Mavs.
"Right now, tomorrow is not ruled out," said McGrady, who also said he wants
his minutes monitored in hopes of getting healthy.
