McGrady declares "It's time to really increase the minutes."

Tracy McGrady is ready for more playing time.
踢妹準備好要打更久了。

His 1 for 4 on Wednesday did not say that. He said it.
他禮拜三投4中1的數據並不支持他的說法。但踢妹開口了。

He feels fine. He played well on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he was back in
Orlando, where he was once his unstoppable best, and declared himself ready
to do more than offer nightly seven- to eight-minute appearances.
他覺得自己狀態不錯。
禮拜三，他回到了奧蘭多--那個他曾經是聯盟第一人的地方，
宣稱他已經準備好了，不想要每晚都只是7-mac。

"I just try to play my role, my little cameos I make," McGrady said.
"Obviously they are looking out for my best interests, trying to monitor my
minutes. At the same time, I feel it's time to really increase them. I think
that's what's going to happen in the next few games.
踢妹表示:
"我試著扮演好目前跑龍套的角色，

"I lace them up and at that seven-minute mark, I go in the game, I do what I
got to do, and then, the second quarter I sit down and become a cheerleader.
That was the plan. I agreed to that. It's cool. After so many games, I've
shown I'm able to increase the minutes.
"我盡最大努力利用那短暫的七分鐘，我到了場上，做自己該做的事，
 然後在第二節坐下來當個稱職的啦啦隊。

"I feel right now, it's time to really increase the minutes. I think that's
what's going to happen over the next couple games. I do know my body. I feel
fine. It's time to start increasing. I was cool with the plan they had me on,
but I think it's time to start increasing."
"我覺得現在就是時候增加出場時間了。
 我認為在接下來幾場比賽就會發生。
 我很瞭解我的身體狀況。是時候該增加了。
 我同意高層的7-mac作戰計畫。
 但我認為現在是開始增加上場時間的時候了。"

McGrady described his summer in Chicago, the work it took to get this far and
the time it took his microfracture predecessors to get back to full strength.
He said that he and Rick Adelman have not discussed changing the current
routine, but that he has a "feeling" the playing time will increase either
after the two days off this week, or after the New Jersey-Cleveland
back-to-back.
踢妹描述了他夏天在之加哥的日子以及他為了從手術中恢復所投入的努力和時間。

He emphasized he was "OK" with the plan, not wanting to "mess up the
chemistry" of a young team. "I did not want to be part of that this year," he
said.

"It's a contract season for me," he said, "so we have to think about that as
well."

Adelman does not have to think about that, and it's a safe bet he won't. He
does have a tough choice to make soon. McGrady has only had one game that
makes a case for increasing his playing time. In the other games, unless
considering his name and resume', no one leaves thinking, "That guy really
has to play more."
但愛逗人沒必要考慮，而且我打賭他不會考慮。
但他很快就要做出重大抉擇了。
踢妹只有一場比賽(對快艇)的表現可以當作要求增加時間的籌碼。
在他其它的比賽中，除非看到他的名字和履歷，不然沒有人會認為說

He looks healthy. There does not seem reason to worry that he cannot
physically handle more minutes. But in the five games other than his strong
play against the Clippers, he has made 4 of 14 shots, scoring nine points. He
does not have much burst, does not run the floor well, and struggles against
quickness.
踢妹看起來很健康。
沒有徵兆顯示要為他可能無法承受更多的上場時間而擔心。
但在他復出的五場比賽中，去除對陣快艇的出色表現，
剩下比賽他14次出手只有4次命中，總共得到9分。
他爆發力還不足，跑動也不是很好，腳步也不夠快。

All of that is understandable, perhaps part of the 'process' he has often
cited. Adelman has wanted to be certain not to take away from anything
working. After the Rockets play the Nets on Saturday, however, it will be
tough to keep things working, especially if Trevor Ariza does not turn things
around after going 3 of 21 shots in the past two games.
這一切都是可以理解的，也許這就是他所謂的"復出過程"的一部分。
愛逗人必須確定不能破壞到球隊目前的體系。
然而在這禮拜六火箭客場挑戰籃網之後，
尤其是在亞理莎如果無法從先前兩場21投3中的狀況下恢復的話，

Adelman could continue to be patient, just trying to get the Rockets past the
LA-Phoenix back-to-back next month when the schedule seems to lighten.
McGrady, however, seemed to be working to be running low.
愛逗人可能會繼續等下去，試著先讓火箭撐過一月的湖人/太陽背靠背再說。
但是踢妹的努力似乎快耗盡了。

"Whatever they have for me, I'm a player. I don't want to cause any
confusion," McGrady said. "We had enough of that last season. There won't be
any of that.
踢妹表示：
"不管他們有什麼計畫，我都只是一位球員。我不想再製造任何混亂。
 去年已經受夠了。今年不會再有這樣的情況發生。"

"I know how hard I have worked and what I can contribute and bring to the
team. But I have to be patient."
"我知道我有多麼的努力而且我也知道我可以為球隊作出貢獻。
 但現在我必須要有耐心。"
