Adelman sees lesson in loss to Heat

Lessons plan

Though Rockets coach Rick Adelman struggled to find a bright spot, he
suggested there was reason to hope something good could come from the loss to
the Miami Heat on Friday.

儘管禮拜五對熱火的比賽讓Adelman輸得灰頭土臉，但他仍然認為失敗中還是可以得到些
什麼。


“The only thing we can take some solace in is that maybe it teaches us a
real hard lesson that just because we're playing at home doesn't mean
anything if you don't come out and play with more energy than we played,”
 Adelman said. “This homestand is great. But we play a lot of good teams in
this homestand. We have to play well to win. Hopefully, we can learn from
what we didn't do.”

「唯一感到慰藉的就是，這沈痛的教訓讓我們知道，如果打的這麼鳥，就算在主場也是
  屁。」 Adelman說。

「在主場打球很爽，如果要打敗強隊還是得打出好球才行。但願我們能從失敗中學習。」


The Rockets have plenty of time to retool, with Monday's game against the
Bucks their only game until Friday in San Antonio. That allowed time for a
full video session and practice Saturday and a shootaround today before
Monday's afternoon game.

在禮拜一對公鹿之前，爆掉的火箭還有很多時間可以慢慢修補。在這之後則要一直到禮拜五
才會飛到San Antonio和馬刺對決。這讓火箭在上禮拜六有很多時間可以慢慢看錄影帶和練
球，再禮拜一的比賽之前也可以好好練習投籃。


“They saw it,” Adelman said of the video session. “We're not playing like
we were earlier in the year.”

「大家都看完對熱火那場的比賽畫面了，」，Adelman說。
「我們不知道在打什麼鳥，完全沒有今年一開始的那種感覺。」


Musically challenged

When practice ended Saturday, Chuck Hayes called Aaron Brooks back from the
weight room and the Rockets' rookies — Chase Budinger, David Andersen and
Jermaine Taylor — to the middle of the court to celebrate Brooks' birthday
with something that sounded like Happy Birthday to You.

禮拜六練完球之後，Chuck Hayes把一哥Brooks、菜鳥布丁狗、小嫩嫩Taylor和偽新人
Andersen從健身房抓了過來，為了就是要把一哥抓起來阿魯巴慶生。


“Those guys have no talent as far as singing,” said Brooks, who turned 25
on Wednesday. “All off beat. Chase, Jermaine dancing. They were terrible,
just terrible.”

「這些傢伙唱的還真難聽啊啊啊啊，」禮拜三剛滿25歲的一哥說。

「拍子完全不對，布丁狗和Jermaine竟然還有辦法跳舞!?!!?!?他們唱生日快樂歌超爛的，
  完全不知道在唱什麼鳥!???!?」
