On the way out of the Verizon Center visitor's locker room, I passed Luis
Scola and thought I'd make a modest suggestion,
perhaps overstepping my position as a guest there, but still seeming on safe
ground.
走出了巫師隊主場的更衣室, 我遇到Scola並對他做出了建議.

"Take tomorrow off," I told him,
knowing that the Rockets were not practicing and that he had been carrying
such a heavy load.
"明天休息一天吧." 我跟他這樣說.

"Oh, he won't," said Wizards center Fabricio Oberto and Scola's former
teammate with Argentina's national team.

"I can't," Scola said. "I took yesterday off."

The guy played an average of 42.5 minutes on the three-game road trip.
He has had double-doubles in four-consecutive games, averaging 21.8 points
and 16 rebounds.
Scola has played 1,949 minutes this season and in three NBA seasons has still
never missed a game.

Dave Macha said.
"He'll shoot, work on his footwork, agility stuff. That's how he gets ready.

success.

Still, there will be two more days after Wednesday to get ready for the next
game,
and that game will be in Houston and it will be against the woeful Nets.
Scola, however, looked shocked at the idea that he might not be in the gym.
既使在下一場比賽之前有兩天的空檔, 而且是在自己的主場對上戰績不好的籃網隊.
Scola還是不會讓自己放鬆.

So forgive me - and take the rest of the night off, instead.

Sam Cassell's thoughts about coaching.

come? Does he want to be a head coach?
Does he lean on things he learned from his many coaches, from Rudy
Tomjanovich to Doc Rivers?

Sorry, but the Wizards do not allow assistant coaches to speak to the media.

So forget a story about a charismatic, chatty, colorful coach.

How about another story about Gilbert Arenas, Javaris Crittendon and guns in
the lockerroom instead?

Maybe the Wizards are hoping no one will pay any attention to them.
The announced attendance was 10,422, the smallest crowd of the season.
Most apparently came to the arena dressed up as empty seats.
或許巫師隊也不希望大家再把焦點放在他們身上.
這場比賽只有一萬多位觀眾, 是本季最少的.
場邊有很多很多空位.

This is a team that should be calling Post beat guy Michael Lee and begging
him to talk to Sam.
They should be sending a car to the local media's houses and bringing those
guys to the Verizon Center for practices.
They should want any story about anything so positive.
他們應該把球員從媒體前帶回來球場, 好好的練習.
他們需要的是其他正面一點的消息.

Arenas' sentencing is March 26.
