A cautious comeback

When Kyle Lowry left Tuesday’s game in the fourth quarter, he packed his
left ankle in ice, then repeated the process in the locker room after the
game. His return to the floor after missing 12 games with a sprained left
ankle was difficult, but it was timed to give him three days to recover
before the Rockets’ game Saturday against the Nets.

Happy as he was to get Trevor Ariza and Kyle Lowry back on the floor, Rockets 
coach Rick Adelman did not know how their return would impact his rotation 
long term. Ariza came off the bench on Tuesday.
