 總版那裡 有篇文章說, 蛋皮基本上會跟熱火簽約了...
 所以看來應該不用再有懸念了

 有篇文章費根大叔有提到 這交易的動機, 大家參考一下這段

The Rockets move for Erick Dampier indicates a few things, but not what many
assume about their feelings about the center position. This is not a sign
that they are getting nervous about Yao Ming's time limit or the time share
with Brad Miller.
 火箭追求Dampier的舉動有很多的涵義, 但這不代表他們仍在為中鋒位置擔憂.
 這也不代表他們仍然憂心姚明或是大米的狀況.

That would be the conclusion if they were chasing centers around the league.
They are not bringing in Earl Barron for a workout or inviting Primoz Brezec
to camp or working down a list of available centers.
  如果球隊還在到處尋找聯盟裡未簽約的中鋒,
  那或許他們真的(對姚明大米)有些不放心.
  不過他們沒有, 因為他們並沒有接觸聯盟裡其他的中鋒.

Dampier would be a bargain and valuable in some matchups. He can run
pick-and-roll with Aaron Brooks or Kyle Lowry, match up against the biggest
centers and offer some of the rim protection lacking last season. Judging by
the Rockets' lack of interest in other centers, this is an effort based more
on opportunity than desperate need.
 如果能拿到Dampier就算賺到了. 就那麼簡單.
 他可以跟小AB或是小羅莉打擋拆,
 在對上有大隻佬的球隊裡他也能保護我們的禁區(這點我們上個賽季做的很差)

 火箭隊只與Dampier有興趣而非其他中鋒們,
 所以不代表我們病急亂投醫, 只是想說能不能趁機撈一筆而已XD
