If the Rockets do indeed demand Gasol, the Lakers' offer should be Pau,
Blake, Goudelock, three future first-round picks and $3 million in cash for
Lowry, Luis Scola, Kevin Martin and the No. 16 pick in the 2012 NBA draft
which Houston obtained from the New York Knicks in a 2010 trade.

Once the Lakers complete this deal, they should then immediately trade Scola,
Martin and the No. 16 pick to the Washington Wizards for Rashard Lewis'
grossly overpaid but expiring contract and the Wizards' lottery pick
(projected to be No. 2).

The Lakers could then use the Wizards lottery pick to draft the University of
Kansas' Thomas Robinson. As such, the team would have succeeded in trading
Pau Gasol, Steve Blake, Andrew Goudelock, three future low first-round picks
and $3 million in cash for star point guard Kyle Lowry, superstar collegiate
power forward Thomas Robinson, the expiring contract of Rashard Lewis and an
amazing amount of cap relief.

The Lakers brass could then bring back former Laker Lamar Odom on a veteran
minimum contract, re-sign Ramon Sessions, Devin Ebanks, Matt Barnes, Troy
Murphy and Darius Morris, and be all set for next season.

利用這個選秀權，湖人可以選中堪薩斯大學的 Thomas Robinson 。

Lewis 雖然薪金很高，但合約即將到期。利用剩餘的薪資空間，他們可以用老將底薪
簽回 Lamar Odom、續約 Ramon Sessions、Devin Ebanks、Matt Barnes、Troy Murphy
以及 Darius Morris 等人，這樣一來湖人的陣容也會變得較平衡一些。
