Dwight Howard and Omer Asik won't be starting together for at least

The Rockets’ great two-centers experiment could be over.
If not over, it will likely be put on hiatus. With matchups against
the smaller lineups of the 76ers tonight and Knicks on Thursday ahead,
Rockets coach Kevin McHale apparently decided it is too big to succeed,
at least for now.

火箭的雙塔實驗宣告失敗,如果繼續用大概會被別人打爽的,
所以冰箱決定用小陣容啦!

McHale would not specify the lineup change he had in mind, but said
there would be a change to go smaller than the combination of Dwight Howard
and Omer Asik that has started every game this season. Second-year
forward Terrence Jones started the second half on Monday and played 32
minutes, 15 more than he had played in the season’s first seven games
combined. Omri Casspi has received the bulk of the minutes at power
forward off the bench.

反正冰箱就是會改變先發的人選,不會再是草莓奶油這個搞笑組合,而是希望走
小陣容 後面在說TJ跟髮膠哥的兩三事

“We’re going to try something different here these next couple games
with the big lineup,” McHale said. “I looked at that. Mixed results
on the whole thing. With matchups, guys are a little smaller,
so we’re going to go a little smaller.”

媽的 哥怎麼覺得三段內容差不多...冰箱要換小陣容....

The 76ers start swift 6-8 forward Thaddeus Young at power forward.
The Knicks have been starting Carmelo Anthony, although New York coach
Mike Woodson indicated he was considering lineup changes before
tonight’s game in Atlanta. Those changes are more likely in the
backcourt, but with Tyson Chandler out, Andrea Bargnani has been
starting at center, already making the Knicks more perimeter
oriented than would fit with the Rockets’ big lineup up front.

The Rockets considered playing Asik and Howard together to be an experiment,
but have gotten off to rough starts in most games. Paradoxically,
the same lineup has played very well at the start of the second
half in many of the same games, but the Rockets’ offense has been
slower and less effective with both centers on the floor without
getting enough benefits from the defense and rebounding to justify
the offensive lulls.

“We just got to learn how to play together,” Howard said of playing
with Asik. “It’s tough. It’s something we got to get used to. We’re
learning each other’s games. I’m learning where he likes the ball
when I drive. I like it at times. At times, it’s great for our team.
At other times, you’ll see a more traditional lineup where he might
come off the bench. But we all have to sacrifice something.
For us to be a successful team and for us to win a championship,
it’s about sacrifice. I’ll do whatever. If coach wants me to
play the three, I’ll play the three.

“It’s something we both have to get adjusted to. The focus for me
is our team getting better on the defensive end. The offense will come.
We have a lot of guys who can put the ball in the basket, a lot of guys
who can make plays.”

The change, however, might be primarily to give the Rockets’ scoring
a jolt. McHale had said things have been “jammed up” inside with
both big men on the court together.

這個變化 主要應該是為了火箭隊的得分

“You just kind of add another guy on the floor who is a playmaker,
can do some different things on the perimeter, hopefully give us a
little more speed, a little more thrust in attacking the basket,”
McHale said. “We’ll see. There are parts of the big lineup I really like,
but there are parts that just never felt like was clicking.
Against some of these smaller teams it’s hard to do.”
