Rockies send 15 players to Minor League camp

The Rockies announced several roster moves today. The following 15 players
have been sent to minor league camp:

Right-handed Pitchers: Manuel Corpas,
                       Mike Esposito,
                       Ubaldo Jimenez,
                       Jim Miller,
                       Juan Morillo,
                       Sandy Nin,
                       Ramon Ramirez,
                       Eduardo Sierra,
                       Judd Songster

Left-handed Pitchers: Justin Hampson,
                      Zack Parker

Catcher: Chris Iannetta

Infielders: Jayson Nix,
            Troy Tulowitzki

Outfielder: Jeff Salazar

The following eight players on the 40-man roster were optioned to minor
league camp: Corpas, Esposito, Jimenez, Morillo, Nix, Ramirez, Salazar,
and Sierra. The other seven players were assigned to minor league camp:
Hampson, Iannetta, Miller, Nin, Parker, Songster, and Tulowitzki.

Colorado now has 47 players in major league spring training camp,
including the 6 players still participating in the World Baseball
Classic.
