Miranda is a level-headed, career-minded woman, who values her independence

The Actress behind Miranda
Cynthia Nixon is an accomplished stage actress,with credits ranging
across the classical/contemporary spectrum. Since the age of fifteen,
she's worked with such prestigious companies as the New York Shakespeare
Festival and for directors like Louis Malle, Mike Nichols and Robert Altman.
From Ibsen to Albee, Tony Kushner to Tom Stoppard, Nixon has breathed life
into the works of all the major playwrights. She can be seen next in the
critically acclaimed The Vagina Monologues at the Aspen Comedy Festival and
New York's Westside Arts Theatre. A New York native, Nixon has a Bachelor's
degree in English Literature from Barnard College, and currently resides in
her hometown with her partner Daniel Mozes and their three-year-old daughter,
Samantha.
