        正好在看 LXG2 完全攻略, 裏面有漫畫家 Kevin O'Neill 的
        補充:

        Not an intentional reference to David Lean's Lawrence of
        Arabia. However, after reading the Edwin L. Arnold book
        I was struck by how lame a character Gullivar Jones is-
        for the most part a spectator in his own story whose naval
        uniform slowly falls to bits and sword rusts. Thinking about
        the Martian deserts brought T.E. Lawrence to mind, a flawed
        but fascinating figure. The image of a troubled man in
        flowing robes seemed to invest Gullivar with a mystery and
        gravitas lacking in Arnold's book, but does not contradict
        it.

        所以...外貌的元兇是 Kevin O'Neill 啊!! (爆)

→ ablackcat:裡他描寫阿拉伯景色的手法印象非常非常深
