春訓的輸贏當然不是重點, 而是我們對上的 White Sox 恰好是簽下我們前捕手
Pierzynski 的隊伍. 大家都知道 Pierzynski 在巨人隊跟隊友的關係相當的差勁,
所以仇人相見分外眼紅...
今天是由 Tomko 主投, White Sox 的外野手 Joe Borchard 在第二局和第六局的時候
分別打出了一發全壘打, 在比賽結束之後在他的休息室發現了不知哪來的 100 元美金
, 後來才知道原來是 Pierzynski 給的. 他提供給任何從 Tomko 手中敲出全壘打的隊
友 100 美元的獎金.
最後, 附上一段 Pierzynski 講的:
"I'm not going to lie: I'm happy I'm not back there,"
"It wasn't a fun experience. I met some great people. ... But I saw some
people for what they are. I've moved on. I wish them the best of luck.
Hopefully we can play them in the World Series and beat them."
我在想這傢伙在白襪不知道可以呆多久...
