Tennis more important than love

After all world media released the news about Ana Ivanovic and Fernando
Vedasco’s break up, there has already been much speculation about potential
reasons for the end of their relationship. Although Verdasco is generally
considered as the famous seducer, while Ana was seen with a handsome golfer
Adam Scott, their relationship did not end for romantic, but more probably
for practical reasons- they have both concluded that tennis is much more
important to them.

在全世界媒體都發佈了Ana跟Vedasco分手的新聞後,
就有著許多的猜測到底是什麼因素使這段關係結束.
雖然Verdasco普遍被認為是一位花花公子,
當Ana和英俊的高爾夫球選手Adam Scott見面時,
他們的關係並沒有朝戀愛發展,
更有可能分手的原因是-他們都認為網球對他們來說是更重要的.

First rumors about the end of Ana and Verdasco’s relationship appeared in
early January when Ivanovic was spotted on the beach in Queensland
accompanied by an Australian golfer Adam Scott. However, it soon turned out
that the two of them spent time together because of the common sponsor (“
Rolex” watches) and several days after Scott was seen with an actress Kate
However, during the tournament in Brisbane, it became obvious that Ivanovic
and Verdasco’s relationship didn’t work well, which they later confirmed
for the media. After one of his matches in Brisbane, a journalist asked the
Spanish tennis player about their relationship and he answered in a
diplomatic way:
“It doesn’t matter whether we are friends or a couple, when we are on a
tournament, we should stick to our professional obligations. There is no time
for private matters. Now we are here to play tennis, not to have fun or spend
time together, or maybe act as a typical couple in love.”
Fernando added that he would like to continue his relationship with Ana after
the tournaments. “We will try to give our maximum on the court and after the
tournament I hope that we will find some time to be together again,”
 Verdasco explained.

當Ana出現在昆士蘭的海灘,陪伴在旁的是澳洲高爾夫球選手Adam Scott,
但他們兩個會出現在一塊原因是因為有相同的贊助商

然而,在布里斯本比賽期間,被媒體所證實Ana跟Verdasco關係似乎不是很好.
Verdasco在布里斯本賽後記者問了他有關戀情的問題,

我們需要盡我們的義務. 沒有時間談私人事務.

Fernando也說他想在比賽後跟Ana的戀情繼續發展.
"我們會試著盡最大努力在球場上,
而比賽後希望我們能有些時間在一起" Verdasco說.

On the other hand, last week Ivanovic had a commercial campaign for “Adidas”
 with the slogan “Me, Myself” and when the journalists asked her if it
meant that she loved herself more than Verdasco, she said:
“The new Adidas campaign is very inspiring, because it shows women as
individuals- we are all athletes in some way and there are some things that
we all do differently no matter which level of sport we deal with.”
Since August last year when they became very close in New York during the US
Open, Ana and Fernando were in the center of media attention. They were
followed by paparazzi on trainings, matches, tournaments… and when the
Serbian tennis player met Verdasco’s family, the relationship was about to
become serious. However, it seems that Ivanovic and Verdasco could not
coordinate their professional and love life- at least for now, they have
chosen tennis…

另一方面,上週阿娜的愛跌倒商業活動中,有句標語
"我,我自己"(Me, Myself)
當記者問她是否愛自己勝過於Verdasco,
她說："愛跌倒新的活動非常地具啟發性,因為它展現了女性是獨立的個體

我們都如此地不同."
自從去年八月在美網其間相當地親密,Ana 跟 Fernando就成了媒體追逐的焦點.
不論是在訓練時.比賽.巡迴賽,都被狗仔隊跟拍.
當Ana拜訪了Verdasco家族時,這段關係變的更加認真.
然而Ivanovic 和 Verdasco無法兼顧職業生涯與愛情生活
現在,他們選擇了網球...
