Male players suggest new night-play rules

(因為我們外不強中很乾的Nole昨天打到快要翻白眼，
賽後他和Roddick都分別對賽程的安排說出看法)

以下節錄

這是Roddick的看法
“If everything is equal all across the way, I feel like
maybe the men should get the first match every once in a
while during the first week of a Slam,” Roddick said
Tuesday after his quarterfinal win over 2008 champion
Djokovic. “If all things are equal, then I feel like
the scheduling should be the same.”

這是Djokovic的看法
“I think doesn’t really benefit for a lot of people to
play that late,” said Djokovic, adding that the afternoon
schedule for the quarterfinal had hurt him.

Djokovic didn’t get on court until 11:10 p.m. Sunday
night after the women’s match went three hours.

“I went to sleep around 5, 5:30,” Djokovic said. “Didn’t
really have time to recover.”

主要的原因是在於前一場是他"唯一"被安排在夜間打，卻因為女單拖延
加上大叔難纏，所以打到太晚，這次又跳回日場，縮短了調整時間。
Nole也有說他申請了繼續維持打夜場的要求，但很可惜不盡如意。

(不過他也有說不想再繼續深究這個問題，詳細情況可看之前duffy的翻
譯賽訪)

以下是Roger的看法
“I think it would be nice to come up with a concept that maybe
the guys get a 7:30 start match one time,” Federer said. “If
they (women’s matches) play long like today—we started, what,
10 (p.m.)? It gets late for fans … for everybody. You might
have the greatest match taking place at 2 a.m.”

“I think it would be nice if they would sort of consider that
in all the Grand Slam tournaments, especially the ones that
have night sessions.”

關於熱不熱這件事情
HEAT WAVE: If players thought 95 degrees on Tuesday was hot,
they could be in for a shock this week.

The state of Victoria has issued a public warning as the temperature
is forecast to soar above 104 degrees the next four days, the longest
heat wave here in 50 years.

Emergency workers fear heat-related illnesses and fires, while at
Melbourne Park the sweltering courts will challenge even the fittest
of players.

最主要還是在"立足點相同"上要取得公平
雖然Nole體力不好是大家都了解的事實
不過賽程的確對他最不固定
從首輪到八強
Roger 夜日夜日夜
Nole  日日日夜日
Andy  日日(第四場)日日日

剛好在八強戰的時候遇到休息縮短
然後也不得不稱讚Andy體力之好 每天給太陽曬
