Lazio Confirm Stankovic, But Stam And Corradi Future Uncertain
06/04/2003. Lazio general administrator Luca Baraldi has clarified
the future of three of the club's star players.
"Stankovic has a 100 per cent chance of staying," he said. "While
there is a 50 per cent chance that Stam and Corradi will remain.
"They are all men that Coach Roberto Mancini wants to keep hold of
because they are good players.
"As a club we will do everything in our power to make sure they stay
but marriages are made in two. Whoever continues to play for Lazio
must be happy to do so."
Stam and Corradi have as yet refused to agree a reduction in wages
from the cash-strapped Biancocelesti.
