America send Lopez back to Lazio

America have abruptly pulled out of talks with Lazio striker Claudio Lopez.
The Mexican giants were ready to sign the Argentina international,
believing he had been granted a free transfer by Lazio.
Lopez and his agent, Fernando Hidalgo, travelled to Mexico to finalise
terms only for America to pull out of talks after Lazio reportedly demanded
a fee for the striker.
Lopez is now flying back to Rome with Hidalgo to begin preseason training
with Lazio.
