今天難得念了一篇times上的蒙古遊記
看到最後一段出現了一個令我吃驚的單字：shaman。
有看通靈的大家應該都知道，
通靈人叫shaman，通靈王就是shaman king，
但總不可能蒙古是出產通靈人的地方，
而且下面的註釋也明顯不像：
Buddhism dominates in Mongolia, but shamanism thrives as well.
簡譯如下：
蒙古以信奉佛教為主，但薩滿教也在此佔重要地位。
後來我查字典，所謂的shaman是指黃教，也就是蒙古的宗教之一，
shamanism就是薩滿教。
原來這才是通靈的字源啊…
