Maria will be playing the Watsons Water Challenge in Hong Kong from January
3rd - 6th 2007.
Maria is one of eight players entered in the exhibition along with Svetlana
Kuznetsova, Kim Clijsters, Elena Dementieva, Nicole Vaidsova, Lindsay
Davenport, Zheng Jie and Yan Zi.
The format is that 8 players will compete in a quarterfinals draw. The 4
winners advance to the Gold Group and the 4 losers go into the Silver Group.
Both groups will then comprise of two semi-final matches and one final. There
will be a Gold Group Champion and a Silver Group Champion.
Maria has played this event 3 times before from 2003-2005.
