Andrew Bogut, the Milwaukee Bucks' rookie big man, left the Bradley Center on
Wednesday night with a broken nose, and had successful surgery yesterday.
Maurice Cheeks, the 76ers' coach, left the building with a 108-97 loss,
wishing his players had more of a nose for the basketball.

手術進行順利。七六人教頭Maurice Cheeks則是帶著108比97的輸球離開Bradley Center

The Sixers, giving up a 10-point lead in the third quarter, were crushed,
55-38, on the glass, including 18-6 offensively. In two losses to the Bucks
this season, they've been outrebounded by a total of 31.

"We've got to get some guys to just go after it," Cheeks said after deciding

a shot. Well, defense and rebounding are work, and that's what we're going
to do; we're going to work at it 'til we get it right.

Some other numbers offer more evidence of the problem: The Bucks outscored
the Sixers, 34-24, in the paint and 21-5 on second chances. Michael Redd
finished with 32 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, while ex-Sixer
Joe Smith added 18 points and 13 rebounds.

morning shootaround with flulike symptoms. He is averaging 48.5 in his last

season.

gone away. If you're not scoring and not defending and not rebounding, you're
not going to win the game."
