… The two teams met twice this preseason, and split the series by wining on
each other’s home court:
10/18 at NY, Sixers, 114-99 and 10/25 at PHI, Knicks, 80-71 … Last season
the Knicks took the season series, 3-1 … The Sixers haven’t beaten the Knicks
in a season series since the 2001-02 season (3-1) … Overall, the Sixers have
lost eight of their last 12 games against New York, including five straight
at Madison Square Garden.
