BOSTON - Don't expect the Sixers to sign George Lynch anytime soon.
不要期待七六人會在不久後簽下 George Lynch 。
While team president Billy King didn't deny a published report that the Sixers
inquired about Lynch's availability roughly four weeks ago, he said that was as
far as it went.

"We have no interest in George," said King, who called the report "off-base."

The 35-year-old Lynch, a free agent, hasn't played in the league since he spent
last season with the Hornets. Oklahoma City/New Orleans waived him on Oct. 29,
even though it meant paying him the $3.2 million he's owed this season.

Lynch, a 12-year pro, was the starting small forward for the Sixers from

Although King said there was no progress to report on the Willie Green front,
signing Green is far more likely than Lynch returning.

The Sixers will retrain the rights to Green, a restricted free agent, even if
they only sign him for the rest of the season. Another possibility is they
could make it a two-year deal and give Green the option to void the second
year.

Green, a combination guard, who underwent surgery Aug. 16 to repair a torn ACL,
said Sunday that he was a week away from returning to NBA action.
