首先是 A.I. 在他的慈善壘球賽上被問到關於 King 兜售他的事。
以下是引用他的發言：
"I want to be a Sixer and I've said that since day one," Iverson said during
an 11-minute session with reporters at the ESPN Zone. "But if I'm not wanted,
I definitely don't want to be a Sixer and I'm willing to start my career all
over. But everybody knows that I want to be a Philadelphia 76er."
他表示他從第一天起就說要做七六人的一份子，不過當他不被球隊需要時，他也絕對
不留戀七六人的一切，寧可到另外一隊從頭開始他的生涯。不過每個人都知道他始終
願意留在費城。
"I'm used to it, but I'm also tired of it," he said. "Sometimes I even think
that leaving might not be such a bad thing, because I might not have to deal
with this every summer. My kids might not have to deal with this. My wife
might not have to deal with this. So it might not be a bad thing. But I
honestly want to be a Sixer."
他也表示他已經習慣了謠言滿天飛的情況，雖然他仍舊對此感冒。有時候他會想：
或許離開不是一件那麼糟的事，因為這樣就不需要每個夏天為此擔憂。他的小孩以

"The trade thing has everybody interested in what's going to happen," he
said. "To me, it's old. It's getting old. It's been old. But to my family, it
stays fresh in their minds because they never know what's going to happen.
他提到大家對於交易傳言最有興趣的是會最後的結果。他認為這一切都是熟悉的，
但是對他的家人卻是深深烙印在心中般地鮮明，因為他們永遠不會知道最後的結果

"Honestly, I hope if something happens, it hurries up and happens. And if
it's not going to happen, I just wish I could get some type of indication
that it's not going to happen. I think it'll make it better for the fans of
Philadelphia, because they'll know what's going to happen. I really don't
think it's fair to them."
"老實說，如果有些事會發生，我寧可早點發生。而且如果它不會發生，我只求能夠
得到一些關於它不會發生的指示。我想這對費城的球迷們也比較好，因為他們會知道

"I have some value," he said. "We didn't make the playoffs last year, and
when something like that happens, you feel like you've got to do something. I

understand it's a business, and I've been with Billy for so many years, and
he has to do his job.

As to what the Sixers could do to improve, Iverson said, "I don't think the

"Anybody that looks at any Philadelphia 76ers game can see what I bring to
the table every night. But me leaving might be the answer. I have no idea. It
depends on what you get for me, and the chemistry on the team once I'm gone.
You won't know until it happens. Hopefully, the best thing will happen for
both parties."
"每個有看我們比賽的人都看到我每場球帶給球隊的貢獻。不過我的離開或許會是個

Webber: He was team's 'scapegoat'
Webber 也不太舒服。他仍舊對主場最後一戰時發生的兩大球星缺席事件感到不悅，
他認為球隊放出這樣的訊息等於將他當作戰績不佳的代罪羔羊，來轉移球迷的焦點。
"I was there for the whole game," Webber said Thursday on Comcast SportsNet's
Daily News Live. "If you wanted me to come out [of the locker room], I could
have come out. I'm a professional more than anything and I appreciate my fans
more than anything.
"我整場球都在那，如果你要我露面(原本待在球員休息室)，我可以出現。我是個
職業球員，這比什麼都重要，而且我非常感激支持我的球迷。"
"... To make it look like I didn't do it for the fans ticked me off."
"...這一切根本就是為我貼上'耍大牌不理球迷'的標籤。"
Webber said the Sixers knew that neither he nor Iverson would play the final
two games, because the team had already been eliminated from qualifying for
the playoffs.
Webber 表示七六人知道在確定無法進入季後賽之後，他和 Iverson 都不會在最後
兩場球上場。
Sixers president and general manager Billy King said in an e-mail response:
"Chris was not made a scapegoat. It is unfortunate he feels that way. As an
organization, we all have a responsibility to our fans."
King 在回覆記者查證的 e-mail 裡表示 Webber 並不是所謂的代罪羔羊。很不幸的
他這麼認為。共同作為球隊的一份子，大家都有對球迷的責任。(嗯，官派回答。)
※閒聊開始：
Webber 最近還提到 Iverson 是一年半前說服他來費城的那個人，頗有不希望 Iverson
離開之意，既然兩大球星都說話了，就看 King 和 Mo 怎麼處理這個尷尬的狀況。
其實我對 King 頻頻換選秀權的動作並不意外，因為老闆 Ed Snider 事實上不希望
付豪華稅 (看 Nailon 那個交易就知道了)，所以 King 一定被指示要盡力讓球隊離
豪華稅門檻越遠越好。由於球隊的 payroll 裡面有很多愚蠢的包袱在，所以對 King
來說最好的方式就是找那些還在菜鳥約狀態的球員來打工，或是一點不貴的浪人或是
江湖郎中。事實上不貴的浪人或江湖郎中也不好找，搞不好的也會變成蒙古太夫讓
球隊越補越大洞，但是弄太多年輕球員又會把球隊搞得像夏令營一般，無怪乎 Webber
要怒吼他不要待在重建的球隊 (Webber 還計劃再打四年這樣)。
換選秀權得先有選秀的好眼光，近年來 King 的選秀不能說很差 (相較於作交易的
頭腦)，但是基本上以 Iverson 為中心的球隊，我不認為是適合菜鳥成長的。再則
King 也不是什麼好農夫，能挑到好的種子，基本上我只求帳面上不要太虧就好。
最近 Salmons 這個 transaction 只能說 King 換到的東西太少。五年23M如果是
Sixers 付給 Salmons 那才是天大的腦殘行為。後場已經滿到觀眾席了就不需要多
留後衛。
板友們與其擔心 Iverson 到底會怎麼被對待，還不如靜下心來觀察一下確定明年
會在陣中的人。以我悲觀的看法 2008 年以前這支球隊應該都過不了季後賽第二輪。
(天阿，上面最後這句我抱著好大的勇氣才 post 出來，XD)
不過即使如此，我依舊信仰著這支球隊，即便是傻傻的等待也無妨 :P
