For the first time since the start of training camp, the 76ers had a chance
to practice on the main floor at Palau St. Jordi, the site of tomorrow evening
’s game against FC Barcelona.
訓練營開始以來，這一天七六人終於踏上明晚要進行對抗賽的球場。
想當然爾，這場比賽強調的是今年訓練營的重點，防守和籃板球。
今天的一開始的訓練內容相當普通，投籃練習和傳球練習，長人一個半場，矮個們一個
半場。還是有些熱身用的防守練習。今天也練習了發球的陣勢，由 Cheeks 和 Lynam
來調整站位以及陣勢的細節。
當然，同時防守的一方也得認真將防守對方發球的要訣記下來。
之後則是主要的訓練調調，從全場的四對四到罰球，全都注重在防守。隊上的每個人
都做得不錯，也得到教練團的嘉許。
接著是 Allen Iverson 對小將 Louis Williams 的全場壓迫防守，直到把他逼到
回場為止。
而且，就如預期的歐洲行會有的成效，團隊溝通慢慢地發展，化學作用正逐漸發酵，
例如多次撲倒在地上救球的 Chris Webber，也傳授新秀如 Steven Smith 和 Bobby
Jones 許多籃球智慧，而教練團成員也在必要的時候提供個人診斷。
這天的練習也包括了常規時間的對抗賽，也是練習營首次有時間、進攻時限，和計分
的比賽。Iverson、Webber、Dalembert、Iguodala 以及 Willie Green 同隊穿黑色
球衣，對抗白色球衣的 Kyle Korver、Rodney Carney、Kevin Ollie、Shavlik
Randolph 和 Steven Hunter。兩隊都展現出從一個禮拜以來所著重的防守張力，
在半場結束時兩隊以 29 比 29 平手。
星期四晚上將是新球季 Sixers 所面對的第一個考驗 -- FC Barcelona 將與他們
對抗。這場比賽將會在 NBA TV 上轉播，也會在 Comcast Digital Cable 以及
DirectTV 上播出。
