Iverson doesn't crow

Given the opportunity to gloat, Nuggets guard Allen Iverson took the high
road after Billy King was fired as general manager and team president of the
Philadelphia 76ers.

"I know a lot of people expect me to be happy about something like that, but.
honestly, I'm not," Iverson said.

"You hate to see somebody lose their job, especially when they've got a
family. That's their livelihood. I just wish him the best and wish the
organization the best."

King and Iverson spent nine-plus seasons together in Philadelphia, and the
relationship soured when Iverson asked to be traded in December 2006.

While trying to accommodate Iverson, the team placed him on the inactive list
for nearly two weeks before shipping him to the Nuggets on Dec. 19.
