消息指出七六人隊即將與剛放暑假的超賽助理教練 Tom Thibodeau 會面。

Tom Thibodeau 在 Doc Rivers 麾下幹了兩季的"防守教練"，
另外他也曾於93-94年球季在七六人隊做過助理教練。


PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers will interview Boston Celtics
assistant coach Tom Thibodeau for their vacant head coaching position.

The interview was confirmed by a person familiar with the decision who spoke
to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because an announcement has
not been made. The date of the interview was not immediately known.

Thibodeau, known as a defensive-minded coach, just completed his second
season as an assistant to Boston coach Doc Rivers. Thibodeau was an assistant
coach for the Sixers in 1993-94.

The Sixers already have interviewed former Wizards coach Eddie Jordan. The
Philadelphia job became vacant when Tony DiLeo stepped down last week and
returned to the front office.

The Sixers will interview Dallas assistant head coach Dwayne Casey, along
with Tom Thibodeau.

An NBA executive with knowledge of the situation said Casey will interview
with the 76ers. The person spoke Monday on condition of anonymity because an
announcement has not been made.

Casey was fired by Minnesota during the 2007-08 season.
