Andre Iguodala stepped to the foul line after getting hacked on a drive to
the basket with his team down 78-77 and 2.2 seconds remaining. All season
long his fourth-quarter free throw shooting had been horrific. But during
this series he had come through with two big ones in Game 3 in front of a
crowd that can be merciless.

therefore giving the Sixers an eight-point lead at the half as opposed a five.

ball ahead to Evan Turner, who got to the paint but had his shot blocked by
Asik. The Sixers proceeded to get three consecutive offensive rebounds, but
they also missed all three ensuing shots at the rim. Thaddeus Young missed
two of them and Spencer Hawes missed the fourth and final attempt.

Bulls were surging.

The Bulls’ rebounding efforts were remarkable. They had 56 boards to the
Sixers’ 32. Deng had 17 rebounds to go with 19 points. Carlos Boozer had 13
and while Gibson was not the next in line, he did grab five rebounds and all
seemed exceptionally timely.
