看板 Sixers 關於我們 聯絡資訊
http://0rz.tw/ZSvzU When Nick Young was a Wizard, the 6-foot-7 shooting guard put up on some solid numbers. Young, now a Sixer, led Washington in scoring during the 2010-11 season with 17.4 points per game, and before he was dealt to the Clippers last year, he posted 16.6 points in 40 games. But according to Wizards’ owner Ted Leonsis, stats were all he cared about. In a question-and-answer with Mike Wise of The Washington Post, Leonsis was posed this question: “How is this team (Wizards) so different from last year’s team?” And this was his response: “Culturally, every one of these guys is a good guy. It’s a big change. And no one is playing for a contract. I don’t think Nick (Young) and JaVale (McGee) were bad people. But they wanted stats. I understand that, relate and get it. But they weren’t playing as a team. You saw at the end of the year with Nene, who already got his big contract, right. So stats weren’t important to him. The little things were important to him.” Ouch. Now as a member of the Sixers, Young will have plenty of chances to show Leonsis and the Wizards exactly what kind of player he is next season.
