Well, the fans that claimed the 76ers’ offseason was too
quiet now have no reason to complain.
The Sixers have officially acquired 7-foot center Andrew Bynum
from the Lakers in a four-team trade in which Dwight Howard
goes to Los Angeles.
那些之前質疑七六人制服組在offseason混吃等死績效低落的球迷，

The 24-year-old Bynum, who averaged career highs in scoring
(18.7) and rebounds (11.8) for the Lakers last season, gives
the Sixers their first all-star center since Dikembe Mutombo
in the early 2000s.
To get Bynum, a seven-year pro, and veteran 3-point specialist
Jason Richardson, the Sixers sent all-star swingman Andre
Iguodala to the Nuggets, as well as rookie forward Moe
Harkless, second-year big man Nikola Vucevic and a protected
first-round pick (starting in 2015) to the Magic.

The talented Bynum is headed into the final year of his
contract, which will pay him $16.5 million. The Sixers gained
Bynum’s Bird rights, meaning they'd have the ability to give
him a five-year extension worth $102 million, while other
teams cannot offer more than $80 million over four seasons.
Team president Rod Thorn said he's confident the Sixers can
retain Bynum.

The Magic had been interested in trading for Bynum, the No. 10
overall pick out of high school in the 2005 draft, but Bynum
said the only team he wanted to re-sign with was the Lakers.
If the Sixers cannot re-sign Bynum, they could deal him at the
February deadline, let his contract expire to create cap space
at the end of the season or send him to another team in a
sign-and-trade scenario that would bring player(s) back.

Bynum can score down low and block shots, which are two things
the Sixers have lacked. He shot 55.8 percent and averaged 1.8
blocks last season, then improved to 3.1 blocked shots in 12
playoff games.
Bynum, who was born in Central Jersey and graduated from St.
Joseph High School in Metuchen, started for the West in the
all-star game. He and Howard were the league's only two
players to average 10 points, 10 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in
2011-12.

While Bynum is loaded with ability, he has a reputation for
occasionally being a bit difficult — such a receiving a
four-game suspension for throwing an elbow at an airborne J.J.
Barea of the Mavericks in the 2011 playoff game in which the
Lakers were eliminated — and missed an average of 31 games in
the four seasons (nearly all due to injury) prior to appearing
in 60 of 66 games last year.
Thorn attributed the incidents to immaturity and said it's
"not an issue at all."
不過雖然Bynum有著這麼多的優勢與技巧，
但是他有著一些情緒管控的問題，

TNT analyst Reggie Miller said he expects "an all-star year
(from Bynum). He always wanted to be the focus of a team and
now he has a chance."

Richardson, 31, has accumulated 1,238 made 3-pointers since
2004-05, trailing only Ray Allen (1,441). On the other hand,
he averaged a career-low 11.6 points last season, his 102
3-pointers was his fewest since 2003-04 and his 36.8 percent
3-point shooting was his lowest since 2006-07.
Thorn said outside shooters tend to thrive with inside scorers
like Bynum because of the attention they demand.

Richardson, an 11-year pro, is set to make $5.8 million this
season, $6.2 million in 2013-14 and has a player option for
$6.6 million in 2014-15.

The versatile Iguodala, who was the team's top individual
defender, spent eight years with the Sixers, highlighted by an
all-star appearance last season and a spot on the 2012 Olympic
team. He's a backup forward on the U.S. squad in London.
"It was very difficult to trade Andre," Thorn said.
The Sixers host the Nuggets and Iguodala, who will earn $14.7
million this year and has a $15.9 million option for 2013-14,
in the Oct. 31 season opener.

The deal helps alleviate the Sixers' logjam of wing players,
but gives them four big men expecting to get regular minutes
(Bynum, Spencer Hawes, Kwame Brown and Lavoy Allen). That
doesn't count undersized power forward Thaddeus Young or
rookie first-rounder Arnett Moultrie.

athletic player whose potential Thorn raved about, though he
was unlikely to play much with the Sixers as a rookie.
Thorn said Orlando wouldn't have done the deal without
Harkless being included.

是個年輕且運動力強大，並具有無限潛力的球員，
雖然不捨，但仍然被Thorn當作包裹當中的重要關鍵被送走，
雖然就算留隊，第一年他仍不會被期待拿到上場時間，
但是 Thorn 表示如果包裹當中沒有他，
奧蘭多方面不會同意這個交易
Vucevic, the team’s first-round selection in 2011, slipped
behind Lavoy Allen and out of Doug Collins’ rotation late in
his rookie campaign. He has some skill, including the ability
to use both hands inside.
2011 第一輪被七六人選上的 Nikola Vucevic 也被加入了包裹當中，
雖然他在去年球季後半在Rotation爭奪戰搶輸了 Lavoy Allen，
但是他有著很不錯的技巧，並且有著優秀的手感，
並且擁有使用雙手進行進攻的能力。
