The Philadelphia 76ers selected Charles Barkley (Auburn) with the fifth pick
in the 1984 NBA Draft.
Charles would pull down 22 rebounds in the All-Star Game that year, the most
rebounds in an All-Star Game since Wilt Chamberlain's 22 in 1967. Barkley was
named the 1991 All-Star Game MVP.
