我們公司Machine Zone設在矽谷新創公司中心地帶Palo Alto。目前一款遊戲在北美App
Store排名前三，每日活躍用戶超過150萬人。最近在德國以及俄羅斯開了辦公室，目前已
在臺北設立臨時辦公室，預計再招幾位台灣的Software Engineer。
工作內容跟Data Infrastructure/ BigData Analytics/ Business Intelligence有關。
一開始會先到美國受訓，之後不定期需至美國出差。

薪資範圍：NT$ 65,000 ~ 面議

依經驗敘薪。

Job Description:

The Backend Engineer is a key member of the Data Platform team at Machine
Zone and will report into our Director of Engineering.
You should be well-versed in PHP or Python (or Java); be able to build/optimize
complex queries in an efficient manner (MySQL knowledge required).
You will be responsible for building a real-time data platform. Your work on
the system will support and optimize games played by millions of global players!

Responsibilities:

* Help build the real-time data platform to support all of Machine Zone's games

* Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, DBAs, and application
engineers.

* Responsible for working with large data sets to track the activity and
performance of the games.

* Implementing reporting & dashboard systems as well as systems for ad-hoc
analysis of game performance & deep-dive analysis.

Requirements:

* 1-3 years of experience in web technologies, web services, REST

* B.S. in Computer Science or related field (M.S. a plus)

* Expert knowledge in PHP, Python, or Java

* Expert knowledge in MySQL,, and able to build and optimize complex queries
efficiently

* Prior experience working closely with team members to implement database
designs, and generate and monitor regular reports

* Must have the ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced,
highly data-driven and changing environment

* English writing/reading and oral communication skill is required

* Familiarity with free2play games is a big plus

→ eliang: 1. 工作地點在台北，所以很可惜不是美國的薪資水準
→ eliang: 2. 受訓期大約三週，公司會負擔機票、食物、住宿等出差費
