Philadephia based columnist Stephen A. Smith reports that the San Antonio Spurs and the Indiana Pacers are discussing a possible sign and trade deal. "They are on the phone right now with the Indiana Pacers talking about the possibility of working out a sign and trade that will enable them to acquire (center) Brad Miller in favor of Tony Parker and a couple of other players. Therefore, they can then go after Jason Kidd," said Smith while appearing on Fox Sports Television's Best Damn Sports Show Period late Wednesday evening. "(By making the trade) you fulfill your need for a big man, while getting a stellar player like Jason Kidd," said Smith. "Or, they can elect to go after Jason Kidd without trading anybody, plus they can entertain the possibility of bringing Alonzo Mourning on board along with Jason Kidd. They have tremendous options." -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.csie.ntu.edu.tw) ◆ From: 210.85.216.92
