Thank you so much. You guys are the best.

謝謝大家，你們是最棒的球迷。

Please. I tell you what I'm so glad this moment is here because I'm so tired of
people talking about me tonight.

我必須說我很高興終於輪到我講話了，每個人都一直在稱讚我，我都聽快膩了。

But you guys make me feel like I wanna play again.(全場歡呼 Pop站起來走向大羅)

不過你們又讓我差點想回來打球。

But. No. But I'm not crazy. These guys are too good. Dejuan Blair made you
forget about me tonight, didn't he? Man, he was awesome. Blocking shots, he
block that dunk and made me wanna jump out there.

不過這只是個玩笑，我沒瘋成那樣。現在的馬刺球員每個都超棒的。Dejuan Blair的精彩表
現不就讓你們都差點忘了我嗎?他表現超讚的。他的火鍋讓我差點想跳上場為他歡呼。

But it's been an unbelievable time watching this franchise continue on under
the great leadership that we have here. I thank God that he brought me to San
Antonio because this place is a place that understands what family is.

看著這隻球隊在領導階層的帶領之下平穩的前進是一種讓人難以置信的經驗。我感謝天主他
讓我來到聖安東尼奧打球。因為這裡明白什麼是家庭。

We've had some tremendous leadership. When I went to the Hall of Fame induction
ceremony, the Spurs brought their whole front office, they brought a bunch of
the players down there, the coaches, I mean, it was an amazing show of
solidarity and support.

我們有著非常棒的領導階層。當我被推薦進入名人堂時，馬刺整個制服組、一大堆球員和教

And I wanna thank Peter and Pop, I just felt phenomenal seeing all you guys up
in the stands, so thank you so much.

From the beginning, we've had great leadership. When I first got here, you know
, it's Red McCombs(註一) and Angelo Drossos(註二). And they saw the value of
keeping this team in San Antonio.

Drossos的帶領之下，是他們決定把球隊留在聖安東尼奧的。

And now Peter Holt had pickup up those reigns. And their excellence has set an
example for this franchise to follow.

And I think you had them to thank for the great positions that you see your
Spurs in for these last twelve years. And we also had some phenomenal coaches,
starting back with Larry Brown, who is a great teacher for me.

And Larry would have me out there everyday after practice trying to get me to
be a back-to-the-basket guy and post me up and telling me I need to be more
like Danny Manning. He was great, and he kept pushing me.

And then we had John Lucas who got me up in five o'clock in the morning and
took me to the track and made me run until I got tired, until I got sick.

And then we have Bob Hill come in, and then Pop came in. And what can I said
about Gregg Popovich? He has taken this franchise to another level.

I thank God for you Gregg, you're a Air Force Academy graduate, I can let that
 go.(全場笑) But your leadership and your vision, I mean he has us
pounding on that rock everyday. He saw where we're going, and he made us
believe where we're going.

Gregg，我也感謝天主有你來帶領馬刺。你是空軍學校畢業的，不過我可以不管那個。但是
你的領導力和遠見......他每天都要我們用生命去練習。他看到我們該走的路，然後他讓我
們相信我們一直朝著那方向前進。

To have this franchise at this level for twelve years now, we have been one of
the top two or three franchise in all of sports. He has done a phenomenal job
at leadership. So we have been blessed with great coaches, and they made this
journey wonderful.

他的領導能力是毋庸置疑的，讓這隻球隊一直保持在這種等級12年，我們已經是全美運動中
數二數三成功的球隊了。擁有這些教練是我們的福氣，而他們把這趟旅程變得精彩萬分。

But also great players, I can think back to when I first got here, and we had
some fun players, they kept the game interesting and fun. But now we had great
players, playing with guys like Avery who couldn't be here tonight but you guys
know that's my boy, Malik Rose, Bruce Bowen, Steve Kerr, great guys, and then
bring in this new bunch of phenomenal players like Manu Ginobili, my personal
favorite, Tony Parker and Dejuan Blair now.

然後還有一些偉大的球員。我剛來的時候，我們有些有趣的球員，他們讓比賽保持好玩有趣
。但是我們現在已經有許多偉大的球員，像是今晚沒辦法出席，但是你們知道他永遠是我好

I mean it's just been amazing all these players have come through, but the
players I got a chance to play with were for great players, and they allow me
to have the opportunity to really come to this level where I got inducted to
the Hall of Fame.

這些球員能來到這裡真的是一種奇妙的緣份。我有和這些超棒球員一塊打球的機會，然後他
們讓我有機會被推薦進名人堂。

So I wanna thank the players I got a chance to play with. Soon, I'll be able to
come up and congratulate this guy on getting into the Hall of Fame(指Duncan). So
all that has been really exciting to me.

所以我想要感謝所有和我一起打過球的球員。很快地，我將會站在這裡，恭喜這個傢伙被選

And I would obviously be remiss if I didn't mention my wonderful family. My wife
Valerie, my mom, Freda(他媽) and Ambrose(他爸) are here, my sons, David, Corey
and Justin are up there with all of their friends, my ......(真的聽不出來 囧)'s
here, so I had great support, and I wanna thank all of you because you guys know
how important my family life is to me, and how important my faith is to me.

And they've been my support all of these years. And even after I retired, when I
was going into depression watching these guys running up and down, and Duncan in
my place.

These guys helped me up, so thank you wonderful family and friends. But tonight
the Spurs gave me a great opportunity, I mean the Hall of Fame induction
ceremony was great, part of my past.

But the Carver Academy is my future. And I think it's our future. It's a pre
grade through 6th grade elementary school, and we have 120 kids there.

And we have the opportunity to really make an impact on this city for many many
years to come. And I've never been very good at asking for money, or asking
people for things. But I want to take time tonight, and you had the opportunity
tonight to see some of the videos, and if you get the chance, go to the website.
And look at what we're doing there, I would love for you to support the kids.

Our kids, like it said in the video, ours kids are testing in the Stanford
Achievement Test in the top 10 or 15 percent nationally. We're doing a
phenomenal job. Our head of the school, Brenda Murphy is on the leading edge of
technology and education, and she creates little leaders. If you ever get a
chance to go by there, you'll see them.

Two of my boys graduated from Carver, one three years ago, one just last year.
Being a father there, watching how Brenda took my own children and shape them,
really gave them courage and leadership quality that you don't even know they
have was a phenomenal experience.

But that's not unique to my own children. Every child there in the Carver
Academy get to do those things. So it's been an incredible journey. And I really
want to encourage you to go to the website, take a look and see what we're doing
, and be a part of supporting one of the kid's scholarship, because it will make
a difference.

And we see these kids changing every day. Our older kids had graduated five
years ago and now in the tenth grade. Watching them from the time we got them to
the time where they are now. These kids really think they can be President.
And not just because of President Obama, but because they really are preparing
themselves. They're working hard. They prepared academicly and emotionally and
spiritually and everything to go out there and be great success to this world.
And we were a part of that.

So I really want to encourage you, if you get a chance, go to the website,
please check it out. I mean you can support them 5 dollars, 10 dollars, 20
dollars a month, whatever you want to do. I mean we take big checks too.

But be a part of it. I mean we don't have a (又聽不出來了 囧), we don't have
parents that can really support us. I think I was the only parents who can
really support us. But we need you guys to come along side of us who really
help support the kids.

So I really want to encourage you to do that. And again I just want to thank you
fans, because you really are the best. You make it so that all of the Spurs
players want to go out the community and give up themselves. And your love makes
them want to give back to you. So thank you for all that you've done for me.
Thank you for walking us to the Hall of Fame. Thank you San Antonio. Thank you.
