Tony Parker got into the lane early Friday night, and he got to the basket.
He threw no-look passes and finished three-point plays. Once, he threw a
no-look pass to Antonio McDyess for a dunk — a play that looked like it was
created by the last All-Star the Spurs had coming off the bench.
And with Game 3 of his team's first-round series with Dallas on the line in
the fourth quarter, Parker dusted off his mothballed jump shot.

Parker did everything in the Spurs' 94-90 victory at the AT&T Center but

Parker finished with 23 points, none bigger than the nine he threw in during
the final 2:35, to push the Spurs to 2-1 series lead and knock the
second-seeded Mavericks into the postseason ropes.

“I was mad at myself, because in the third quarter I wasn't aggressive,”
 Parker said. “I told myself in the fourth quarter, I was going to play like
I did in the first half.”

Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 25 points, and Manu Ginobili shook off a
fractured nose to notch 11 of his 15 points in the fourth, as the Spurs
surged past the Mavericks in the final 21/2 minutes to wrest control of the
series.

It marks the first time the Spurs have led a playoff series since winning
Game 7 at New Orleans in the 2008 Western Conference semifinals. Game 4 is
Sunday at the AT&T Center.

for 28 points per game, Ginobili was channeling 2007 Steve Nash. Midway
through the third, Ginobili took an elbow from Dirk Nowitzki that drew blood
and sent the Spurs guard to the locker room for 4:11 of clock time.

Ginobili, nursing a nasal fracture, is scheduled for a CT scan today.

“I didn't have time to worry if he was coming back,” Spurs coach Gregg
Popovich said.

trying to stop the bleeding on the court.

A 17-0 Dallas run fueled by Nowitzki — who finished with 35 points — as
well as a switch to zone defense that Popovich said caused the Spurs to “
stop playing,” gave the Mavs a nine-point edge late in the third.

Ginobili returned for the fourth, driving for seven quick points to start the
quarter, but the Mavericks were clinging to an 81-80 lead late in the period.

Parker had followed a 12-point first half with a two-point third quarter, and
— having given up touches to Duncan and Ginobili — was scoreless through
the first seven minutes of the fourth.

Popovich called a play for his backup point guard. Red roll.

“It's the play they call when I'm rolling,” Parker said.

With the flick of a wrist and a pump of a fist, Parker was back to being
Parker, and the Spurs were halfway home in the series.

並以最後18.7秒的三分打為比賽劃上句點
